last weekend of june

Happy Tuesday! This past weekend was one of my favorite weekends this whole year – traveling to Boston, a wedding and my first Yankee Game.

My cousin got married right outside of Boston this past weekend and it was so nice to be able to spend time with my family. Since we only get to see each other three times a year (Christmas, Easter and the beach), it was the best way to bring us all together again. We had the best time celebrating by dancing and singing all night. It was definitely a night to remember and we are so excited to officially welcome a new member to our crazy Irish family! Not going to lie, this place was an absolute dream and anyone would be so lucky to get married here. It is called the Willowdale Estate and it is located about an hour outside of the city. I was absolutely obsessed with it and have to brag about it.

I loved how it was modern with a homey feel and was decorated with string lights all around. I purchased my dress in May because I was obsessed with it the first second I saw it. Revolve is one of my newest favorite retailers and I knew that this would be the best dress for the occasion. This dress also comes in a light pink color but as many of you know I am not a pink person at all so I had to go with the blue. To top off this dress, I paired it with my favorite Kyle Cavan compass necklace and Steve Madden shoes.

On Saturday after the wedding, my family and I went into Boston in the afternoon to grab a quick lunch and walk around before our long car ride home. We walked around Quincy Market in the North End and along the Harbor. Boston truly is a beautiful city, especially in the summer (sorry hate the brutal winters). There were tons of people out walking around, traveling to the Cape and enjoying the nice weather. It was the perfect day to sit outside and enjoy. Following this beautiful weekend, my dad, cousin and uncle went to the Yankee vs. Red Sox game. It was my first time ever being at the Yankee Stadium and I enjoyed every second of it even though it was 90 degrees. It was the perfect way to end the best family filled weekend.

Although summer is busy and blogging is something that I have been wanting to pursue since high school, I am going to try my best to keep up with all my summer adventures and even into the school year! Sometimes life gets in the way, but it is important to reflect on all the experiences you make. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and are staying cool! Happy July 4th shopping & beach time 🙂
